In the Written Word with the Living Word – Isaiah 2

Isaiah 2 (NASB)
1 The word which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Now it will come about that
In the last days
The mountain of the house of the Lord
Will be established as the chief of the mountains,
And will be raised above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.
3 And many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For the law will go forth from Zion
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.
Father, I know that the revelation given to Isaiah is to be recognized as different from what I might write today, but this still does not nullify Your work of revelation to me today.
My question is why do the majority of us in Christ today not share with others what is happening in Our relationship with Jesus. Sharing what You are showing us from Scripture, talking about how WE are responding to the world around Us, how Your presence made Our fishing trip better, how Your truth came through such as unexpected situation, or express Your presence the instant You speak to us through thoughts You plant, regardless as to where we are …
I trust You in the life of “certain others” but not in mine. May I stop giving man credit for what You reveal, and allow Your relationship with me to reveal Your person to others. May the messenger become less important to me, that I can SEE YOU as the One speaking to me and wanting to flow through to others.
I like the phrase: The Jesus in me wants to speak with the Jesus in You and the Jesus in You wants to speak with the Jesus in me. Father, I view the “me” in this statement as “US” meaning Jesus and I.
Thank You for inviting me into Your Life rather than leaving me on my own to duplicate Your Life. Continue to prod when I begin to think that I can use principles and formulas to substitute for INTIMACY WITH JESUS.
Thank You that revelation from Your Written Word intensifies Our Intimacy.
Oh, how I love to celebrate Our life together!
